Win the race. Lose the decorum.

Welcome to Politically Driven: a satirical arcade kart racer where the campaign trail has boost pads, the debates are settled at the finish line, and somebody is definitely throwing a pizza box.

Pick your political parody, build your ride, and race through coastal curves, snowy shortcuts, campaign-bus traffic and a very questionable lava jump. Miss that last one? A taxpayer-funded helicopter might finally put your money to good use.

Free Android development demo. PC demo coming soon. Made by Politically Incorrect Dev Team.

Let's talk again.

Politics can feel like a never-ending shouting match. I wanted to make something that gives people a reason to laugh together instead of another reason to stop talking.

No party gets a free pass. Politicians across the spectrum have flaws, controversies and larger-than-life public personas. This game pokes fun across party lines: bipartisan, satirical and built for fun, not to campaign for one side.

You do not have to agree on politics to enjoy a good race together. My hope is that a little shared laughter opens the door to real conversation: less us versus them, more people talking to people.

Online chat is planned alongside the future online multiplayer servers. The goal is a welcoming space for players with different views, not a platform for harassment. Neither online matchmaking nor online chat is available in the current demo.

Four candidates. Eight bad ideas.

Each driver brings a signature fired weapon and a trap. Collect ballot boxes to charge your abilities, then decide whether to take the clean racing line or make your opponent regret theirs.

  • Gonald Thump: Orange Spray Tan clouds a rival's view temporarily. His ICE Block slows the unfortunate enemy.
  • Hillary Sprintin: Air Mail auto targets and causes an explosion. Pizza Party leaves an explosive surprise behind.
  • George Push: Paper Plane also auto targets. Mini Hurricane slows the enemy if they happen to drive through it.
  • Carmala Harris: Coconut auto targets. Word Salad is an explosive trap.

I plan to adjust what each weapon does to provide a balanced experience, for now these are just placeholders. More weapons and characters are planned as well as their respective skins.

The campaign trail has a speed limit. Ignore it.

Explore eight circuits with day and night options: Civic Circuit, Liberty Coast, Mandate Ridge, Caucus Woods, Filibuster Falls, Majority Meltdown, Motorcade Mayhem and Gridlock Gambit.

Build drift boosts, chase shortcuts, launch over jumps and thread your way through moving campaign buses. Different routes ask for different risks; the finish line does not care about your excuses.

Your race. Your rules.

  • Quick Race: jump into a race against bots, from head-to-head battles to eight-racer fields.
  • Time Trial: leave the political attacks behind and chase a better personal time.
  • Campaign: beat your party counterpart in the primary, then face the opposing party's finalist.
  • Custom Race: choose the track, rivals, racer count, laps, weapons, time of day and speed modifier.
  • Clean racing: switch weapons off when you want the driving to do the talking.
  • LAN multiplayer: host or join races with other players on the same local network.

LAN is still being tested and refined. It is not internet matchmaking; each player needs a device running a compatible build.

Online multiplayer is planned so players can eventually race beyond their local network. It is not available in the current demo; server infrastructure and online features are still future development work.

Dress for office. Drive like you won't get elected.

Choose from seven karts, swap slick or off-road tires, experiment with paint, and try the three outfit options for each driver. From a royal wardrobe to a very undignified diaper, dignity is strictly optional.

Use touchscreen controls or a supported controller on Android. Settings include control customization, music selection and graphics options; device and controller compatibility are still being tested. Keyboard controls and key bindings are planned for the upcoming PC demo.

A few years of “what if?” Finally playable.

This idea lived in my head for years. Now it is finally becoming a real game: a ridiculous, colorful racer with its own personality and plenty of room to grow.

This demo is a work in progress, not the final release. Expect continued balancing, visual polish and bug fixes. The Votes economy and shop are currently previews, not a live online progression system.

Your feedback genuinely helps. Tell me which track you loved, which weapon made you laugh, and where the game got in your way. For a bug report, include your device, build version, game mode, track and what happened; a screenshot or short video is especially useful.

Follow the project for updates and leave your feedback in the comments. Your suggestions and bug reports help shape what comes next.

What's ahead & how to support the project

Android: the plan includes optional rewarded ads, giving players a choice rather than interrupting races. These are planned features, not a promise that live ads are available in this demo.

PC / Steam: the PC demo is coming soon, with a Steam release planned. The intended Steam model is one upfront game purchase, with no ads, in-game purchases or ongoing player fees. PC downloads are not available on this page yet.

Donations are appreciated, never required. Support helps fund server hosting for future online multiplayer, additional asset packs and more game content. Donations support development; they are not a purchase of the game or a guarantee of a particular feature or release date.

A Discord community is in development. The plan is to share updates, gather ideas and bug reports, and run voting polls so players can help choose future content. An invitation will be added once the server is ready.

Getting on the starting grid

PC: demo coming soon. There is no PC download in this release.

Android: download the Android APK and install it on a compatible 64-bit Android device. Your phone may ask you to allow installation from the browser or file manager you used. Only install the official project download. Play in landscape.

LAN: use the same game version on each device and connect to the same local network. One player hosts; the others join through the LAN menu. Guest Wi-Fi or hotspot isolation can prevent devices from finding each other.

Credits & a little honesty

Created by Politically Incorrect Dev Team using community-made free asset packs, free music and original project work. Some 3D models were created with Meshy AI under private licensing; AI-assisted artwork is also used. Individual asset and music creators are listed in the game's Credits menu.

Special thanks to my best friend for pushing me to make this idea a reality.

Very silly racing game, would love a desktop version!

It's coming! The new build should be ready soon for android and a PC build is coming along with it. Just have to figure out some bugs and change out some VFX packs.
